This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 2 groups of Special needs students who join me with our general education art class, however they require art supplies that best fit their needs, so that they do not feel left out. Like jumbo crayons and pencils, this makes it easier to develop their motor skills and re-enforce what their teacher is showing them in class.

They are always a joy and always happy to come to art.

I don't want them struggle when they are trying to do art in my class. I don't want them to get frustrated or discouraged because they cannot hold a typical crayon or a pencil. Let us give them what they need!
