This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Curious, inquisitive and adventurous, that's what best describes my fifth grade class. They are always eager to learn and share their creative ideas with others. Although they are talented, they wish to have creative outlets of self-expression. This project will help them visualize and enhance their work through technology.
Let's get them excited about learning and give them the tools to help them succeed!
Since we are a federally designated Title I school in the heart of Miami, most of my students come from predominantly low-income homes, but they are eager to learn.
We have the honor of working in an inclusion class where many students have a disability or have difficulty learning. Please help my students achieved beyond their exceptionalities and provide them with the confidence, knowledge and the tools they need to succeed. With your help, we can make sure they are able to succeed, especially with the power of learning through technology.
My Project
Students learn best when they are engaged and excited about a topic. Through the use of computer USB type C adapter hubs, we can stream exciting educational videos that relate to our lessons to the Promethean Board. We can also use it to do virtual science experiments and simulations while bringing textbooks to life through online experiences.
Students can use the adapters to share presentations, projects, photos, and videos!
HDMI and VGA adapters are amazing teaching tools since they can help instantly share an image, a photograph, create a video or an interactive lesson right from a Chromebook, Macbook or Surface Pro. The use of a trackball mouse can help students that struggle with fine motor skills. A USB charging station will help us keep our tablets and handheld devices. My goal is to quench my students' curiosity by allowing them to explore our fascinating world without leaving our classroom. Help me expand my classroom and immerse them the amazing world that surrounds us.
