Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I recently transitioned into a K-2 classroom from Social Skills. My students, primarily visual and tactile learners with diverse skill sets, thrive with materials that align with their learning styles. While I possess a range of adapted resources to address their social goals, I require additional materials to support other domains like math, reading, writing, and life skills.
Teachers Pay Teachers provides a plethora of adapted books, file folder activities, task boxes, worksheets, and visual/behavioral supports tailored to my students’ diverse needs.
Access to Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards would facilitate the acquisition of a wealth of tasks and materials, spanning from simple color matching to filling in missing letters in words. Many of these activities are readily adapted, needing only printing, laminating, and affixing hook and loop coins to render them interactive and suitable for both one-on-one and group learning sessions.
