My Project

We have a program at my school called the AOK program. That stands for Acts Of Kindness. When students go above and beyond in the classroom, hallway, lunch, music/pe, and/or outside they get their name announced on the morning announcements. After the announcements their name goes on a giant bingo board in the school office, once the entire row has been filled up with student names, we put all those names in a bowl and draw an AOK winner!! That winner currently gets a bag with some pencils and other items (which is great).

I came up with the idea of giving the students a BOOK!

What better way to promote reading than letting the student pick their OWN book! They will get to take this book home and add it to their own personal library! If we can get all of the book projects funded then all students in my school (kindergarten-third grade) will get the chance to pick their own book!

This project is Part 5 and it is second/third grade books!
