Activities to Grow Our Brains: STEM for 4th and 5th
Help me give my students an assortment of STEM activities, including puzzles, brain teasers, watercolor paints and hexbugs.

My Project
We need to build a classroom community that will help my students feel confident and excited about the things we are going to learn together. These supplies are just the ticket. My students need the opportunity to learn through multiple modalities. With a variety of materials, like brain teasers, watercolor paints and paper, games and hexbugs (robots that are coded by touch or barriers) we will be able to expand on the learning that we do in class and deepen their thinking. I'm also requesting some laminating sheets so that I can protect the instructions and game pieces that we use--then my students can work together on these activities and practice their teamwork skills. Time spent working on collaborative projects is important to our collective experiences.
These STEM activities will bring my students so much joy.
