My students need three standing desks that have a fidget bar included to help them focus on their learning.

My Students

My school is located in a small, diverse community in West Virginia. The students in my classroom receive free breakfast and lunch because they come from low-income households. The economic needs of my students are very high, and the life-experiences of my students are very unique.

I have a wide variety of diverse learners in my classroom.

My students are eager to come to school every day to learn and try new things. They are active, hands-on learners ready to take on the world. They love collaborating with their peers and need that extra boost of comfort in order to do so.

My Project

My active students need standing desks to help them focus on their learning.

My students are very engaged and motivated when they are given a choice of how and where they want to learn.

Several of my students stand at their desks currently; however, there desks are too low to the ground for them to be a comfortable. By incorporating standing desks that have a compartment for their books, as well as a fidget bar, students will be comfortable, content, and ready to learn.

These desks will be very beneficial to my classroom, my current students', as well as my future students'.
