My Students

Our school is an elementary STEM school in Southern Utah. We have just under 650 students. We are a Platinum Blue Ribbon School. We work extremely hard to help our students reach their potential every year, regardless of their backgrounds and individual challenges.

My Project

Students have been struggling with their abilities to focus, and their educational stamina due to the effects of COVID-19. Studies show that active sitting increases student alertness and brain stimulation. Active sitting is also wonderful for students' physical health and spine health. Wobble stools require students to use their core to sit and can release energy while they listen.

Active seating is a non-distracting way students can fidget to increase their focus and concentration in the classroom!

Students love the option to have active seating during the school day. Students can choose from their regular classroom seating or a wobble chair depending on what will help them focus best. Happy students that can focus more easily...what more could you ask for?!
