My Students

I teach all general education subjects to third graders. My school has students from all socioeconomic statuses. My students come to school every day very eager to learn. In my classroom, I strive to come up with various ways to make learning fun and exciting for my students. Many of my students are facing obstacles at home, but they always come to class and give 100%.

My students also vary in their educational needs.

I have many students with IEPs and many students in the gifted program. I try to make my classroom as inviting and fun as possible for my students. I feel that students are able to learn better when placed in a loving and fun environment. I realize many students may be facing challenges at home, and I want them to feel comfortable and safe in my classroom.

My Project

One of my biggest priorities is providing a fun and safe environment for my students. These stools will make a difference in my classroom by allowing students to have some movement while learning, and without causing any disruptions.

These stools will help my students stay engaged and active during learning.

Every year teachers are faced with new challenges and obstacles on how to accommodate for every student in our classroom. I plan on creating several different flexible seating options for students. Students may choose which seating option works best for them. I have already added a few different options to my classroom that have been successful.
