I am a new kindergarten teacher and wish to provide my amazing class with as many hands on opportunities as possible so that they have the best experience to help them continue to be successful in the coming years. My students are young and excited to learn. They are all unique and have different experiences to bring to our classroom community. My students are all full of energy and I'm looking for activities to redirect that energy in new, fun ways.
My Project
We all want our students to be active and healthy. These activities will aid my students in improving the hand/eye coordination and large motor skills. With the parachute we can not only practice our colors but also muscle coordination with different games we can practice. The Active Play Kit included hula hoops, bean bags, jump ropes, and more. The Hop-Along Balls are not only fun but help with coordination as students balance and bounce around. The activity mats have different activities/exercises students can do in centers during our PE time. I can't wait to bring these resources into my classroom!
