Active Listening and Learning!

My students need earbuds to use during online learning platforms utilized with our math curriculum. The many programs utilized include important audio instruction. Currently, we are borrowing headphones from other classrooms.

My Students

Our wonderful classes consist of a total of 60 students with kind hearts and an eagerness to learn. They love to explore and are continuously striving to improve. Our students are compassionate, as well as diligent learners.

We have a unique population of students in our classroom, including students receiving special education services, English learners, GATE students, and Native American students who reside on a local reservation.

Our school is located in a rural town in Southern California.

Our class is unique in that it follows the co-teach model. Two credentialed teachers teaching together to meet the diverse needs of all students.

My Project

Our class utilizes many online programs to enhance our math curriculum. These programs include iReady, Kahn Academy, Study Island, and Codecademy. Each of these programs provides audio that students need to be able to listen to in order to actively participate and interact with the programs. We are in need of a class set of earbuds for each class. We have many students who are unable to provide their own earbuds and, we are currently sharing between 3 different classes.

These earbuds will provide ALL our students with access to the audio portions of our programs, providing a comprehensive technological experience.

Many of our students do not have access to provide their own earbuds.
