This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m new to teaching sixth grade this year and I’m excited to create a dynamic and active environment for over seventy students. I don’t have any sports equipment to get started, though. My plan is to introduce a variety of sports and activities throughout the year to help students build cardiovascular fitness, practice new skills, and work together as a team.

The equipment I’m requesting, basketballs, flag football belts, jump ropes, volleyballs, badminton nets, and toss-and-catch sets, will allow me to offer diverse activities that keep students moving, healthy, and engaged.

These items will be used daily during PE, recess, and after-school programs to encourage all students to stay active and develop confidence in their physical abilities.

Your support means so much as I build this program from the ground up and help my students enjoy fitness, teamwork, and fun!
