Timers let students practice reading aloud, track their progress, and build confidence. They've also been used during math for transitions, independent activities, and after school when students grab a timer to read for 20 minutes. The label machine has been used for everything—from labeling folders by subject, organizing the library, marking materials around the room, and even creating reading stickers to highlight key takeaways. These tools help students take ownership of their learning and stay organized.\r\n\r\nStudents are especially excited about the shrink sheets. Thanks to your generosity, our classroom now has volleyballs, jump ropes, and toss-and-catch sets that have completely transformed our PE time. Students are more active, engaged, and enthusiastic than ever before. PE has truly become the highlight of their day, and it's amazing to see every student participating, moving, and building teamwork skills together.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting moments has been seeing the students take full ownership of their play. They proudly set up and take down the volleyball net all by themselves—sometimes in just a few minutes—so they can maximize their time playing. They work together, problem-solve, and encourage one another, showing responsibility and leadership in a way that is inspiring to watch. Many students even ask to stay a few extra minutes after class or play during recess, and some have asked to borrow the volleyballs for after-school games.\r\n\r\nThe jump ropes were another big hit! With one for every student, they've been jumping, racing, and holding friendly competitions. The toss-and-catch equipment has brought even more fun and teamwork to the classroom, sparking laughter and excitement during every activity. These resources are not only keeping students active but also helping them develop social skills, coordination, and a love for movement that goes beyond PE class.\r\n\r\nNext, the students are eagerly looking forward to our next game rotation, where we'll be playing flag football. The energy, collaboration, and excitement in the classroom continue to grow each day, and it's all thanks to you. They also earn $0.50 a day just for showing up to school—learning that consistency pays off. Every Friday, students apply for classroom jobs like Materials Manager, Desk Cleaner, Phone Monitor, Attendance Tracker, or PE Equipment Manager etc. To apply, they submit a short job application explaining their skills and why they would be a good fit for the role.\r\n\r\nThrough their jobs, they earn classroom money and can shop at our store filled with the amazing items you provided—chips, slime, Jolly Ranchers, and fun reward passes like \"skip the mile\" or \"10 extra minutes of recess.\" The excitement on their faces when they shop is priceless!\r\n\r\nParents have shared how meaningful this project is for their children. This project has made such a difference in our classroom, and I'm excited to share how these materials have supported my students.\r\n\r\nThe Hunger Games series has been a huge hit, especially for my students who are ready for a challenge. These books have helped us dig into skills like following a character's development, understanding theme, and talking about why authors make certain choices in their writing. It's been amazing to see students who don't usually gravitate toward longer novels suddenly become completely absorbed in the story.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has taken on a new level of excitement. Students grab their personalized bookmarks—something they were genuinely thrilled to receive—and settle into their quiet reading spots. Those bookmarks have become special treasures for them, and they use them every day with pride. Some students are also using the timers to track their reading fluency, and it's been motivating for them to see how much they can improve with practice.\r\n\r\nThe magnetic hooks and pocket chart have made our room feel more organized and purposeful. Vocabulary words and anchor charts are now easy for students to see and use, and our transitions run more smoothly with materials right where we need them.\r\n\r\nThere are definitely students who have connected deeply with these new books. A few have already started trading theories about the plot during recess, and one student told me, \"I didn't think I liked big books, but I actually really love this one.\" Moments like that are exactly why I'm so grateful for your support.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping create a classroom where reading feels exciting, accessible, and personal. The scents help them stay calm and focused, and now they look forward to grabbing their bookmarks during reading time. It's been a simple but powerful way to encourage a love of books.\r\n\r\nThe boho bulletin board tree has turned into a classroom favorite. We use it to track our reading together—each heart added to the tree represents a book one of us has read. It's helped take the pressure off and made reading feel like a team effort instead of a competition. Every student feels proud to help the tree grow.\r\n\r\nThe laminator and laminating sheets have helped me create resources we'll use all year (and for many years to come!). I laminated our number line, ASL signs, classroom charts, student rubrics, and info for parents. It's helped us stay organized, and the kids love seeing their classroom look so polished and put together.\r\n\r\nAnd the books—wow. My students were speechless when they saw them. They immediately wanted me to read them aloud. We had amazing conversations about the messages, the authors' purpose, and how each story connected to their lives. The students were especially touched by the idea that they're all \"smart cookies,\" no matter what their reading or math levels are. That message really stuck with them—we are a family, and these books helped us celebrate that.\r\n\r\nI can't wait to read A Letter from Your Teacher on the Last Day of School with them. But even more special, we've been using the ducks during our classroom meetings. Each student selects a duck and gives a positive affirmation to a classmate. It's been such a beautiful way to build community and kindness.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have been a total game changer! Every student now has their own pair, which has encouraged them to listen to books being read aloud, read them independently, and then check for understanding. It's made such a difference in their confidence and reading engagement.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation, we also now have a reward jar for each class. My Spanish class uses the flower-themed jar and has earned rewards like plushy time, extra recess, and a no-homework pass. Meanwhile, my English class uses the fruit-themed jar and recently earned a popcorn party! They get so excited every time they add to their jars—it's truly motivating and fun.\r\n\r\nThe math manipulatives, especially the jumbo magnetic ten-frames, have sparked so much excitement in math! Students love using them during lessons and independent work. In fact, they've been so inspired that they've started planning a classroom store where they can apply their math skills in a real-world setting.
