Active and Engaged Recess

Help me give my students recess equipment to have an active and engaging break from instructional time and build social emotional relationships with their peers. The Sportime recess pack will provide students with equipment to do group games.

My Project

As a strong advocate for promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, I believe that providing a recess pack, soccer goals, and other necessary equipment can significantly contribute to the overall well-being of children during their recess period.

Recess plays a crucial role in a child's development, not only in terms of physical fitness but also in terms of social interaction and cognitive development.

It is disheartening to see children without access to proper equipment in storage bins, hindering their ability to engage in active play during these important breaks. I firmly believe that these contributions will not only enhance the recess experience but also impart valuable life skills to the children, such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience. By investing in their well-being and promoting active play, we can cultivate a generation that values physical fitness and understands the importance of an active lifestyle.
