This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In order for my 6th graders to really explore the wonders of photography, they need to experiment with different manipulatives. Acrylic prisms have precise angles and plane faces that are extremely useful for analyzing and reflecting light.
I am a first-year teacher in Brooklyn and my goal is to give my students the best experience this year.
I want to provide them with a tool that allows them to explore the properties of electromagnetic spectrum to bring vibrant colors and patterns to their photos. My students should have fun but also be safe too, which is why it's vital to get these prisms. These acrylic prisms are also extremely safe and shatterproof instead of the common glass prisms.
