This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching 7th graders is an absolute joy! No two days are the same, and starting middle school can be challenging for some, which is why feeling prepared can ease some anxiety. Being able to provide my students with earbuds, pencils, colored pencils, and paper for organization is extremely helpful in easing the stress around school. We use maps and complete one-pagers to show our understanding of concepts which is where the colored pencils and glue bottles become so helpful. Coloring their work and gluing their notes in their notebooks are a few ways I help students stay organized.

My students are always so grateful when they are provided with these essential resources.

With the paper and colored pencils, I can continue to incorporate art into the classroom, which many of my students do not typically get in their day. Thanks for your generosity!
