This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hands on learning is very important for students to be able to gain insight into the topics they are learning about. This is especially true for my students that attend an inner city school. Most of my students are visual learners. In my Chemistry, acids and bases is a highly abstract concept that is more readily understood through doing hands on activities such as the activities provided in this kit. It is also important for my students to develop skills in taking measurements, recording data, and making conclusions from the data. This kit will provide an excellent opportunity for my students to gain these crucial scientific skills.
