Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kids are the best! A huge factor in my class right now is that it’s virtual. My resources are very limited so I feel like this is a great opportunity for my kids to be able to get the things we need for THEM to succeed. They have never stopped trying and they work so so hard every single day. They are the brightest little minds for being able to learn through a camera! They truly are little warriors.
My Project
My sole mission for these items is to improve the quality of the lessons for these kids. For instance, the iPad. It will be used for their note taking so they can better read what I wrote verses using a mouse that makes it hard to read. The iPad will be used also for their math to better assist with virtual manipulatives and moving it around easier and faster. The 2 color counters will also be used for math for grouping bigger numbers along with the alphabet recognition game. I have many ELs who are struggling and this will help them further. The pocket track will be used for them to practice every morning for days and months!
