This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year in the Spring, students need to take the state exams for reading and math. These tests are long and are spread out over two weeks. During these days, the students are stressed and overwhelmed. The days are long and take a lot of energy out of a student. During those days, I remind my students to have a good breakfast, sleep enough, and pack a snack. However, filling a snack is impossible for many of my low-income students.

I want to provide my students with a snack and motivational tools to help ease some of their worries during testing and help them concentrate better.

This project will allow me to provide enough snacks and stress balls for all my students during state testing, which will help them concentrate and be more successful.
