This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I am requesting materials for my reading and math intervention students to keep their materials organized and neat. The organization shelves will help my intervention students have an easily accessible place in my intervention classroom to store and organize their materials. This shelf will help promote organization which is a skill they can use for the rest of their lives.
As Maimonides stated, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” By teaching my students to keep their materials organized manner, I will not only be teaching them how to keep our classroom organized but I will also be able to teach them how to keep themselves organized.
