This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Remember your first experience with technology? The embarrassment of the first time your phone went off in a meeting? OR The joy of your first touch screen but then the disgust of the fingerprint aftermath?

My students are "Eager Beavers" (as the saying goes).

They love to learn and are exposed to technology, books, etc. that they could never see at home. Our classroom is a Title 1 classroom with 60% of the class speaking Spanish at home. The students are well-behaved, respectful, and hard working and it is my goal to reward their eagerness, by giving them resources and opportunities that other affluent schools receive in our area.

My Project

My students are a joy to teach and have a love for learning. With the recent retrieval of a federal grant, my kiddos have received one-to-one iPads, however, their lack of experience with them often leads to to a few issues that we are hoping to rectify with earbuds, styluses, and cleaning wipes to keep our environment more conducive to instruction, learning, education, and a personalized learning environment. My students have delved into completing WebQuests, watching videos for instruction, completing math tasks, etc on these iPads, so I hoping these devices and accessories will help to improve the educational environment.

These donations will certainly help improve education within the classroom.

These accessories will help their educational development, language development, the distraction level within the classroom, and will help to improve the environment all around.
