Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a second grade teacher who really enjoys sharing and exposing my students to different experiences. At times, due to the lack of materials, it is difficult to bring those experiences to them in an ideal way.

The students that I am teaching this year need extra support and continuous modeling.

My students are eager to learn, and I think that having access to a portable easel will be beneficial to them. The school that I teach at is very supportive, but due to the lack of funds some needs for the students can not be met.

My Project

I have requested an easel for the classroom so that my students are able to follow along as we read. The whiteboard on the easel will be useful for classroom demonstrations. If my students are provided an easel, it will allow us to have an easier time of sharing writing experiences and math problems. The easel that I own right now is not sturdy, which sometimes interferes with instruction while trying to write on it. This investment will certainly support my students academically.

Please support my students with their education by providing them with a reliable easel in the classroom.
