My Project
I teach in the heart of downtown Charleston, providing physical education where the majority of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
My goal as the physical education teacher is to increase students skills around a variety of sports, as well as exposure to new games and activities.
Through the game of tennis, students would be able to learn and strengthen their hand-eye coordination, fitness and teamwork skills.
With your support, we will acquire extra supplies to provide a high-quality, inclusive instruction as well as proper storage to continue use year after year. This investment will allow us to reach roughly 200 students and foster a love for physical activity.
