This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have chosen to come to the ACE for many reasons, but all have come for a second chance at excelling in their studies and in their growth as young adults. They come with great barriers and blocks to literacy. It is my passion to break those blocks and to instill in them a love for reading and writing and language study.

This project is for three more students in my French language and culture class.

Please help us fund this trip.

My Project

My students have been learning about French culture as they also learn the language. This trip will make a difference by giving them a true "taste" of France!

Please help my students enjoy real French food and please say "OUI" to this DonorsChoose project.

We have spent time learning about French breakfast foods, lunch foods, dinner foods, and, of course, desserts. This trip will be to a restaurant 30 minutes away in Ridgefield CT. The owner is from France and will not only serve French cuisine, but will also offer lessons in how to create the perfect dessert crepe.

This project will expand my students appreciation of French cuisine, culture, and language.

My students will dine in a French restaurant run by a native of France.

They will learn about all things French.
