My Students
Uniforms portray a sense of unity and intelligence and exemplify confidence. Wearing uniforms is used to avoid distractions and can assist with the choral program's distinction. At the end of the school year, I would like for my students to feel accomplished and gain positive choral experiences.
The school is a Title I school in the city's public school system.
The school is the oldest African American high school and has proud and supportive alumni who continue to assist with keeping up the school's integrity and tradition.
Students who enroll in my classes have an interest in music and choral music. The students are very tech savvy and are very open-minded in learning foreign music. Piano lessons, guitar lessons, and voice lessons are very important to students, but it is a challenge to provide all of these activities for the students with the lack of resources. The students enrolled are in need of being able to cultivate their own ability in performing.
My Project
The purpose of the uniforms is to establish a sense of uniformity and distinction among the choral program. The program is still in the building process. Uniform shirts will assist the students in being recognized in the community as students in the choral program at our school.
Gaining uniforms for the choral program will assist with our uniformity and appearance and will help the students feel in sync with the Fine Arts Program at our school.
In addition, the uniforms will help the students to stand out for their hard work.
