This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My special needs students are faced with everyday challenges. Their classroom should not pose a challenge to them. It should be a place where they are allowed to thrive, and this technology will be a fundamental component to their success.

My students are challenged every day with the limited resources that are available.

My class is composed of special education students. The printer and camera will help my students with autism and auditory processing disorders. It will allow the classroom environment to be user friendly to the students by tailoring the curriculum to their needs. A camera and printer are integral to making such things as picture schedules. Unfortunately, our classroom has a broken printer and no access to a camera.

My Project

My students need your support to engage in curriculum that should be accessible for all students. No child should be left behind, including special needs students. My students have very specific learning modalities, and my classroom is very limited in technology that would allow my students to thrive.

My project is essential to allowing my special needs students to access core curriculum.

All students should be given the opportunity to succeed in life. With your help, I will be helping my students flourish in all aspects of life.
