Accessing Advanced Social Emotional Topics

My Project

There are many topics that are hard to wrap your brain around at 8 years old, but that does not mean that these topics should not be taught. When students can listen to and discuss a book, they have an easier time identifying with and understanding the topics.

Through the power of books, I can support students with accessing more difficult topics to understand.

These "A Kids Book About ___" books are incredibly beneficial for students to read, because they break things down to an understandable level for second grade students. I would love to have these books to support my students' understandings of these topics and foster social emotional intelligence in the classroom. Thank you! :)
