This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and express their ideas and knowledge. They are at all different levels in their literacy progression and many cannot access the grade-level texts provided by my district. Raz-Kids and Foundations A-Z allow me to differentiate lessons and give my students access to texts they can read. In addition, the headphones allow my students to focus on their work while using the microphone for the voice-to-text features.

Raz Kids allows me to assign texts at their actual reading levels as well as assign grade-level texts they can have read to them using the headphones.

The headphones are necessary to allow students to listen to texts. In addition, the headphones with microphones allow students who struggle with reading and writing to express their thoughts.

My students need texts they can access in order to become proficient readers and they need the ability to express their ideas verbally when they struggle with writing.
