My Project
Nearly half of the students in my 4th-grade class speak Spanish as their first language, and many of them don’t have access to books in their home language. These students are eager learners, but without engaging texts that they can read in Spanish, they’re missing out on opportunities to strengthen their literacy skills and deepen their love of reading. This project will help bring a collection of high-interest Spanish books into our classroom—books that will not only support their learning but also affirm the value of their language and culture.
