My Project

Instrument play in music therapy benefits students in many ways: they're able to explore cause and effect relationships, practice turn taking and listening to their peers, gain understanding of rhythm and melody, learn auditory discrimination, and have FUN! I've inherited some instruments for my classrooms, but need your help to refresh our collection.

With these instruments, students will be able to make music they're proud of that is accessible and aesthetically pleasing.

Playing cracked and splintering wood instruments isn't fun for anyone, and many of our instruments are not accessible to every student in the class. I hope to make beautiful music with ALL of my students for years to come.
