My Project

In a technological world, often my students of Native American descent go without the items we take for granted, such as quality calculators. These are much needed items in the math class these days as students are expected to use technology proficiently and to know all the tricks and techniques that can be used. My students have learned to adapt to not having needed items or have given up/faded to the background in the classroom. This is unacceptable.

Native American students deserve the same support and resources to successfully navigate high school as they prepare for life beyond school.

Please help me level the playing field for my students by supplying them with the kind of calculators they are expected to be able to use.
