My Students

“How did that happen?” is a question often heard in my classroom. My second grade classroom is filled with inquisitive students who love to experience learning. Literacy and math are particular favorites with this group.

Differentiating instruction in small groups is a priority for our community.

Families come from many different countries with over twenty-five languages spoken. There is a commitment within the school and community to create a joyful environment for all students to succeed. This project is just another way to support their daily engagement, growth, and achievement.

My Project

My students are avid readers who need access to a wide range of reading materials at their independent reading level. These rolling shelving units will provide organized storage while allowing flexibility in room arrangement. Storing leveled books on these rolling carts will allow students to create their own reading space within the classroom. The bookshelves and leveled books will help motivate students to achieve higher indepenedent reading levels.

By donating to this project, you will make it possible for these students to have their own classroom library in which they can easily access books to read on their own instructional levels.
