This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These 3 electronic tablets will enable my students to have access to Open Educational Resources including books, journals, videos, and websites.
IPADS CAN HELP STUDENTS INCREASE THEIR CREATIVE POTENTIAL.
IPADS CAN BOOST THEIR LEARNING EXPERIENCE AND IT IS A WAY FOR STUDENTS TO INTERACT WITH THEIR ENVIRONMENT IN REAL TIME.
iPads can enhance and support student learning.
Since I use PowerPoints and Nearpod to present the lesson to my students, an iPad is a direct assessment method for using online quizzes or comprehensive questions in real time. Thus, it is an effective tool to consider when showing “Evidence of Learning- How will students show what they know and can do?” The students will use the iPads to demonstrate what they know and are able to do in specific with standards. Students will be able to assess their own work. In addition, this is a tool that can help me ask questions and/or learning activities that reflect the level of Bloom’s Taxonomy called for in the standard. In my presentations, I use exit slips that are student responses to questions I pose at the end of a class or lesson. Therefore, when I am creating a lesson plan, the informal assessments will guide me to a tailor instructions to focus on the needs of my students.
