Access to Technology in the Classroom

Help me give my students access to technology that will adequately support their learning needs. The COVID-19 pandemic moved learning to a new technology-based standard. These iPads will support students who do not have technology at home.

My Students

In my 8th Grade Classroom located in the RMS in Dracut, MA, my students are eager-minded young individuals with the desire to learn. They are interested in the world around them and ask questions that reflect lessons taught in the Science Classroom.

My Project

The COVID-19 pandemic shifted learning to revolve around the use of technology. This has been a great tool to continue learning outside of the classroom and to provide multiple resources to help students succeed academically. The issue teachers are running into, is that not every student has the same access to technology, both at home or in the classroom. The iPad(s) that I am requesting for my classroom, will allow students all to be at the same level and be provided the same amount of opportunities every day. These resources will be used by students who do not have access to iPhones or chrome books both at home or in school.
