Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students need a reliable device to practice math skills on ReflexMath, iReady, Khan Academy, and IXL. The iMac that I am requesting in this project will be used for the creation of interactive lessons on Nearpod, engaging students to check for understanding on Kahoot and Quizizz, project math and science videos with clarity, and the printing of homework and reference materials. Students will also have the opportunity to use the iMac to research history units, and discover advanced tech tools built in the iMac.

Technology support to close the achievement gap!

With the funding of this project, students will have access to reliable technology. In addition, I will be able to create more engaging presentations and lessons for students. And more importantly, students will have the opportunity to practice math skills to become proficient mathematicians. Also, the iMac will help me facilitate math centers and explore science topics throughout the year.
