My Project

Every child deserves access to adequate reading instruction. For some students that means whole class reading instruction with just right books to read. For others that means whole class reading instruction with just right books AND small group instruction.

For some, it means highly scaffolded, multi-sensory, hands-on systematic reading instruction in addition to all of the above.

This 30-hour training will give me beginner-level certification in the Orton Gillingham approach to learning. This Basic Language Course (Level 1) is all-inclusive and will send me on my way to teach foundational literacy skills using an amazing, evidence-based approach.
