My Project

What I love most about the students is their resilience, energy, and eagerness to grow despite the many challenges they face outside of school. With nearly 90% of our families living in poverty, my students often have limited access to fitness or wellness opportunities—but they show up every day ready to learn and give their best. Resistance bands and pickleball will provide safe, affordable, and engaging ways to build strength, improve focus, and experience the joy of movement—helping them grow healthier, more confident, and better prepared to succeed in all areas of learning.
