This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students this year have enjoyed using Khan Academy Kids at Home as a part of optional practice at home. I would love to bring the application to the classroom as a way for students to access more educational apps. I want to include all students as not all students have access to a tablet to do Khan Academy and a way to raise literacy and math skills in class.
In the classroom, I am trying to find new ways to engage students who are early finishers or could benefit from more practice using different resources.
The tablets would support this effort for differentiation and support all students in my class.
