Help me give my students access to digital materials that meet their needs while we continue to learn from home during this pandemic.

My Students
Our students are all so unique, ambitious, and full of creative energy! In our classroom, we currently have 8 children ranging from 5-8 years old, all whom have been diagnosed with autism. Our students are motivated to learn and love completing hands-on activities!
These students have varying abilities and it is extremely important that we create an environment that supports their needs as well as fosters their different learning styles.
The school district has recently decided to begin this year 100% virtually, leaving teachers scrambling for a way to engage and teach our students. Within my classroom and teaching students on the Autism Spectrum, engagement can be tough in-person, so you can only imagine how it will be online. Therefore, I am looking to purchase digital activities that will keep my students engaged in learning, while also meeting their individual needs!
Our school is located in the inner city part of Philadelphia in an impoverished neighborhood where a lot of children don’t have basic necessities and therefore lack the skills to be successful in today’s world. As teachers, we strive to fill this gap and give children experiences that they may not have had otherwise.
My Project
These digital materials will support our return to 100% virtual learning in a few weeks. They will allow my students to keep learning while in their home environment. These materials will also allow students to work on a variety of skills that they would normally work on in the classroom setting such as academics and life skills. These materials will engage students in a variety of ways, while also meeting their individual needs and goals. Once we return to the classroom, we will be able to continue using these materials to support our daily in class instruction.
