This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is awesome to hear my students ask me "where is that paper we learned about last time?" I love pulling up anchor charts for my students to follow and refer to as they recall information. My young learners do their best to soak up the information they receive everyday. It's really helpful for the many learning styles to have access to visual supports.
My students want to flip through a chart independently and find what they need to complete activities and answer questions.
It's great to have our learning materials displayed in the moment, but when it's time for a new chart, the student contributions are stashed away.
The materials in this project wold help my students have access to their learning charts on display. They would be thrilled to be able to flip to a chart for to locate information. The addition of chart holders would support my students across all subject areas as well as foster student led grouping. My students love contributing to their own learning .
