My Students

My Environmental Science Students and Natural Science student range in grade levels 10th-12th. We live in a 21st century society where technology is a must even in the classroom. Unfortunately many of my students do not have access to internet or a home computer. Since I have students use technology in class to complete assignments, take assessments, and do research these students who unfortunately are limited.

Even while lacking access to technology my students still work very hard to get their work done and be successful in the classroom.

I would like to help them become more successful in my class while also giving them the tools they will need to be successful in the future.

My Project

I would like these Samsung Chromebooks to offer my students the ability to use online resources in the classroom, like Canvas, Google Classroom, Microsoft, Quizizz, and Flipgrid to name a few. They will also use them complete research needed to complete projects and several assignments in class. Many students unfortunately lack the technology necessary for these assignments. For the few who are blessed to own a smart phone, my classroom is at times a cellular deadzone so having access to the school's wifi will also be helpful.

My district gives us access to multiple online sources but many students lack the technology to access these sources on their own.
