Help me give my students books to teach them about social emotional learning and kindness... along with some funny graphic novels to enjoy reading at home for their nightly reading homework.
My students have been learning about social-emotional intelligence all year. In two of my groups, we are starting a literature essay project around social emotional learning so I would like to have books about kindness, friendships, and ways to deal with feelings. I need mentor texts for the students to refer back to while writing their mini-essays. I would love to read these stories to my groups and have them available as a reference for their writing. I would also love to give students books to borrow and read at home for their nightly reading homework and many of my students really enjoy reading the Bad Guys graphic novels for fun!
