Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are the future, literally. In 20 years they will be graduating college and be the new workforce. These kids are being taught differently than just a few years ago. They start learning to code in kindergarten, and they can do some amazing things by the time they get to me in second and third grade.

With 3D printing, my students my students will be able to study the next step of innovation to better the world around them.

In my class, we will study the importance of this technology in different career fields, the engineering design process, and STEM. Having a 3D printer will create a new stem learning center in my classroom. Students will be able to print and hold their designs.
