Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a creative group of young artists. They work hard to further their dance training and are dedicated to the dance program.
As our program grows in numbers, so does our students' need for resources.
We currently service over 350 dance students many of which are in beginning and intermediate dance levels. Currently, beginning and intermediate dancers do not study tap during the year due to the limited number of tap shoes. In order to promote equity within our dance community we are in great need of more tap shoes for our dance shoe library.
