My Project

I love my student's competitive nature this school year. They are kind, energetic, and enthusiastic about learning. This project is designed to offer my pre-k students opportunities for counting and directional activities during Academic Work Time. Learning through play is an important component of the pre-kindergarten curriculum. Students will use these materials with the teacher as a game to identify the direction of the animals. Students will play with the teacher in the beginning, then they will use the materials without the teacher. The timer is big enough for children to keep track of the amount of time they have to complete their work and loud enough for students to hear and begin cleaning up.
