My students need a printer with extra ink. They chose the EcoTank due to its practicality. We can print up to 11,000 copies with one ink cartridge which is more than the average ink cartridge prints.

My Students
My students are the example of what a melting pot is. They have different ethnic and social cultural backgrounds. These "differences" make them unique, with each student having their own set of special needs in order to succeed in a classroom environment and in adulthood.
Most of my students come from low income households.
This makes it a bit difficult for them to get access to the computers, internet, printers, and other technology that is easily accessible to middle-class households. My students need to find a way outside of school to access the internet or use a computer for any educational need such as homework, SAT/ACT test registration, completion of job applications, and more.
As an educator, it is my duty to provide a safe and welcoming environment where students can work in a classroom environment with working computers and a working printer. We need a printer with extra ink.
My Project
Teachers are discouraged from having "personal" printers in their classrooms. They are encouraged, however, to use their yearly classroom supply allowance to purchase ink or toner, but they can't purchase printers with it. I understand that we are moving towards a digital stage, but not having a printer makes my day-to-day work extremely difficult and less productive.
As an educator and club sponsor, having a printer will benefit my students in various ways.
It's convenient to print letters of recommendation, resumes, SAT/ACT admission tickets and make unexpected copies/scans. It will also help them with their daily assignments. They can highlight and annotate to help them with their FSA, SAT, and ACT.
As an educator, it is my duty to provide my students with such "luxuries" to help them succeed in any academic achievement.
