Academic Games... a Great Way to Learn Social Skills

Help me give my students social skills that they lost during having to stay home during the pandemic. The Lakeshore Grab & Play math games, The Lakeshore Spash games, and the Lakeshore Pop to Win games will help.

My Project

I believe that during the pandemic many young children did not learn how to socialize. I would love to have learning games for my classroom so that students can learn these important skills that were not developed due to the pandemic. By playing board games children learn to socialize, problem-solve, build confidence, work cooperatively, and to take turns. I plan to set aside time each week to play educational games. I will oversee the game playing and teach social skills along the way. My plan is to have a 'Circle time" after each game session to discuss what went well and what problems came up. Students will share ideas of how to solve the problems that arise. Thank you for your consideration.
