Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is filled with energetic, bright, curious minds who are eager to explore the world through reading, writing, and hands-on learning. I am focusing on encouraging the use of sports-related equipment and movement.
Many of my students are English Language Learners who bring rich cultural backgrounds and a deep desire to succeed.
They are also part of our gifted program which means they crave challenges, creativity, and opportunities to shine. They need experience with the outdoors and destressing activities.
To support their unique needs, we’re seeking resources that will motivate them to exercise, jump rope, hydrate, or find something to help them take mind breaks and if possible exercise their minds.
