Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that even though my students come from low income communities that doesn't stop them from learning, and achieving their goals! Please help us build an equitable classroom by providing bins for storage (books and manipulatives), furniture to facilitate learning, whiteboards and clipboards so that scholars are able to show work and express themselves.
The clipboards will allow students to work anywhere in the room they prefer rather than sit at their desk for the entirety of the day.The high rise table will allow me to move throughout the room to teach my scholars.
Students will use the whiteboards to workout math problems and to show answers for both math and reading lessons.
The magnetic bookshelves will be used to display the current class reading. The storage bins will be used to organize books by genre so that they are easily accessible to students. My school doesn’t have an up to date reading curriculum so I would like to purchase reading lessons/activities from Teachers Pay Teachers.
