My Project

I have the privilege to teach children ages 3-5 years old with varying disabilities (i.e. Speech Language Impairment, Down syndrome, Autism, and Developmental Delays) as well as students who are typically developing kids. I love providing my students with new and fun ways to learn.

My students enjoy learning and exploring with their hands!

The language and math activities/games will be fun and engaging for my preschoolers. We like to teach letters and numbers in a variety of ways so that our students will continue to be engaged in learning while exploring their letters and numbers. Some of the items that I have chosen include: Geoboards, Shape Sorting Center, Button Sorting Center, Tactile Counting, Tactile Match-up Numbers, Finding Numbers, Counting Tubes, Launch & Learn Alphabet, Find the Letter, What Goes Together, Building Language Lotto, and Touch & Match Guessing Game.

My students deserve the opportunity to explore and discover the world around them in new and creative ways. Many of my students have sensory processing issues and being able to use all of their senses to engage is an essential element of growth others can take for granted, thank you again for giving my students these exciting experiences.
