My Project

My kids are Pre-K students. We work on learning our letters and sounds all year long. We start with A and finish Z by the end of the year. With each letter, we make a page for our Alphabet book. The page is some sort of artwork that starts with that letter and a book that we have read that goes with the letter of the week. These pages require a lot of various art supplies, different types of paper, ink from our printer, lamination pouches, and so on.

When our books are complete at the end of the year, we bring our parents into our classroom to show off all our hard work.

The kids then take them home to help them review their letters over the summer so that they will be ready for kindergarten in the fall.
